Pippin the Plover

X-Small Piping Plover inspired woven wall hanging. This piece is inspired by the Piping Plover's of Montrose Beach in Chicago, and features Pippin the Plover, distinguished by the green bands on his legs. Made with cotton string, and colorful wool and cotton yarns. Pippin is embroidered with cotton embroidery thread. Comes with a comb to keep the fringe nice and neat. Handmade, one-of-a-kind.

Hung on a 7.75" oak dowel, this weaving is 6.75" x 13.5".
