Lonely Highway

Extra-Small Valley of Fire inspired woven wall hanging. This piece is inspired by the desert roads in the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada, and features a curved road cutting through the desert landscape under a glowing sunset and distant lightning storm. Made with cotton string, recycled cotton yarn, and colorful wool and cotton yarns, as well as Painted Sky’s signature wool roving puffy clouds. The road sign and lightning bolts are embroidered with cotton thread. Comes with a comb to keep the fringe nice and neat (and to fluff up the desert plants). Handmade, one-of-a-kind.

Hung on a 7.75" oak dowel, this weaving is 7" x 16.5".
