Distant Strikes

Medium desert inspired woven wall hanging. This piece is inspired by a lightning storm above a lush desert landscape. Made with cotton string, recycled cotton yarn, and colorful wool and cotton yarns, as well as Painted Sky’s signature wool roving puffy clouds. The lightning bolts are embroidered with cotton embroidery thread. Comes with a comb to keep the fringe nice and neat (and to fluff up the desert plants). Handmade, one-of-a-kind.

Hung on a 15" oak dowel, this weaving is 13.75" x 18.75".
