A Brief Flash

Small desert inspired woven wall hanging. This piece was inspired by the Saguaro cacti in the Sonoran desert, under a setting sun and a brief flash of a comet in the sky. Made with cotton string, recycled cotton yarn, colorful wool and cotton yarns, and hand embroidered cacti, starts, and a needle felted comet. Comes with a comb to keep the fringe nice and neat (and to fluff up the desert plants). Handmade, one-of-a-kind.

Hung on an 11” oak dowel, this weaving is 10.25" x 16.25".
